Nach einer unruhigen Nacht - Naava wollte ihren Darm leeren - kam um 06.55h ein blaues Mädchen, unsere Raissa, auf die Welt.  Problemlos, trotz einem Geburtsgewicht von 395 gr.

After a rather busy night - Naava needed to empty her intestines - a beautiful blue girl was born at 06.55h. Without any problems, and Raissa is a big girl of 395 gr.  

Kaum geboren und schon auf dem Weg zur Milchbar!

Just arrived on this world and already on the way to mamma's milkbar!

Raissa muss sich erholen vom Geburtsstress und sie verdaut gerade die erste Portion Kolostrum (die erste Milch von Naava, welche hilft das Abwehrsystem der Welpen aufzubauen).

Raissa tired after her birth and here she is already digesting the first sip of colostrum-milk. 

Und dann passierte lange Zeit nichts. Naava presste immer wieder, und ich spürte ein nur kleines Stücklein Rute im Geburtskanal, aber mehr tat sich nichts.
Nach Rücksprache mit unserem super Tierarzt (Vanini in Watt) fuhren wir mit Naava und Raissa (die Kleine unter meinem Pullover) in die Klinik.
Auf dem Röntgenbild war klar, warum nichts mehr ging. Ein Welpe lag im Steiss, dazu auf dem Rücken und übte Spagat.
Alexandra  versucht lange mit ihren feinen Fingern das Schwänzchen und ein Bein zu fixieren und mit den regelmässigen Wehen (Naava war wirklich tapfer und hat immer wieder gepresst) nach unten zu ziehen. Aber ohne Erfolg!
Es blieb nur der rettende Kaiserschnitt.
Natürlich haben wir angenommen, der kleine "Verstopfer" sei mittlerweile tod, nach 3 Stunden mit zerplatzter Fruchthülle..... aber dem war nicht so.....

After Raissa there was nothing more going on. Naava did press, but only a small piece of tail was in the birth-channel. So we decided to drive to the clinic, and on the x-rays the reason was clear: one puppy tried to come on the back, foot first, but only one, the other was upwards.
We tried to fix the problem manual, Naava was very good and still pressing, but no way, in this position it was impossible.
So we have done a c-section and we were sure, that the puppy who was stuck for 3 hours was dead... but you don't know the cattledogs....

Naava geht es gut!

We have:

Und hier ist sie... unsere Rumba, die Kleine die immer auf Achse ist und sich wohl noch schnell gekehrt hatte, vor ihrem "turn" in den Geburtskanal.

Alle glaubten Rumba sei tod - nach 3 Stunden ohne Fruchthülle! Aber Rumba zeigte den Klinik-mitarbeitern mal was ein richtiger ACD ist.
Zielsicher fand sie als erste die beste Zitze und nach dem sie ihren Durst gelöscht hatte, kletterte sie auf  Naava herum. Und dazu hat sie sich immer lautstark geäussert.
Rumba ist eine kleine Wilde, sehr speziell mit einem etwas hoch gerutschten Körperfleck (normalerweise sind sie am Rutenansatz, aber bei ihr ist er auf der Lende). Und dann ist sie ein anatomisches Wunder, sie hat zwei Herzen, eines im Brustraum und eines im Gesicht :-)

And this is Rumba.... the girl who caused the blockage (and the c-section) because she was dancing around bevor her turn.
Everybody was quite sure that she is dead. But she showed the clinic-personel how a real acd should be. Rumba found the best part in the milkbar right away, and after drinking she started to try "Naava-climbing" with much success.
Rumba has a tailspot who moved upwards to a body spot and she has two hearts, one in her breast and one on her face!

Ronja, die grosse Rote, die sehr ähnlich im Wesen und im Körperbau ist wie Rumba.
Sie hat eine grosse Doppelmaske und einen kleinen Fleck unten am Hals zwischen den Schulterblättern.

This is Ronja. She is about the same size and the same temperament as Rumba.
She has a large double mask and a little spot between her shoulderblades.

Und das ist einer der blauen Rüden, Ravi.

Mit einer sehr ausgeglichenen Doppelmaske, ohne Körperflecken.


Ravi one fo the blue males. He has got a perfect double mask and no other spots.

Der andere blaue Rüde, Raju.
Unser Sorgenkind, er ist der Kleinste und nimmt im Moment nicht so gut zu.
Er ist aber aktiv und wird von seiner Mami sehr geschützt. Ich wollte ihn fotografieren ausserhalb der Wurfkiste, aber da ist Naava gekommen und hat ihn zurück in die Kiste transportiert!

This is little Raju, the second blue male.
At the moment he is not gaining much weight. But he is very active and his mother likes him very much. I wanted to make a photo outside the puppy-place, but Naava did not like my idea and took him back in her mouth.

Hier eine Rückenansicht von Rani.
Jedes Kopfbild von ihr ist unscharf.
Sie gleicht Raissa, hat ein winziges rotes Monokel im linken Auge und ein Flecklein vor dem rechten Ohr. 

Rani....I only have a pic from her backside, all her protraits are not good. She is looking like Raissa, only in red, with a small spot on the left eye and a small spot near the right ear.
